Two arrests for perverting the course of justice in connection with murder investigation |
||
|
Hello Resident, Our Major Crime Unit arrested two people on suspicion of perverting the course of justice today as part of an investigation into a murder in Bletchley. We arrested the women from Milton Keynes, one aged in her fifties and another in her thirties, in relation to the fatal stabbing of Mohammed Tanveerul Islam in Brooklands Road on the evening of 30 July. The women are still in our custody while our enquiries continue. Our specially-trained officers continue to support Mohammed’s family. A man has been remanded in custody after being charged with one count each of murder, possession of an offensive weapon and perverting the course of justice on 6 August. He is due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 9 October. Kind regards, | ||
